Warren Buffet responded, while discussing Michael Bloombergs’ soda tax on CNBC, when asked what his thoughts were about Bloombergs opposition to sugar drinks and such… considering Warren’s large holdings in companies like Coke and Darry Queen … “I’m 82 years old, and I eat ice cream for breakfast some days and drink 5 cans of Cherry Coke every day… Had I eaten broccoli and spinach every day, I would have been gone long ago. My doctor told me to drink more fluids, so I drink more Coke.
How Do You Not Love This Guy?!
Regarding the election he mentioned that regardless of who gets reelected, the economy will pick up in the next four years, so whoever is in office will get the credit.
Warren Buffet than went on to say about Soda that the night after Bloomberg announced his Tax on Soda, he had dinner with him and Bloomberg’s Dessert was way more than 200 calories. He also pointed out that he (Warren) ordered the largest Coke they had in the restaurant. The news anchor than asked if Michael Bloomberg drank any of it, and Warren Exclaimed, “NO, I DRANK IT 🙂 IT WAS FOR ME!

Ironically, for all those that think Michael Arrington writing for Techcrunch is a conflict to his CrunchFund which AOL invested in, I can’t imagine it would be any more of a conflict than Warren Buffet always having a Coke with him on the Air.
