The only projects I take on currently are performance-based relationships.

What that means is…

All marketing would go through me on my own dime, and we negotiate a revenue share.

I don’t want someone to give me money if I don’t generate a return for them.

But, if I am making someone a ton of money, then I want to share in the revenue.

In other words, I want to participate in the full value I am creating.

Right now, I am only looking for one or two companies a year to pour my heart and soul into and to have as partners.

An ideal partner is someone who has a converting funnel and can handle scale and let me work my magic.

If you are a company that knows your lifetime value of a client and wants to spend as much as you can to acquire a customer and dominate the market, then I am your person.

If you are looking for a partner, I am your person, and if you are looking for a vendor, then there are several people I have vetted and can refer you to.

David Melamed 0:14

Hi, David Melamed here, I’m the host of Fixing Incentives podcast where I talked with top business leaders about their journey and the behavior that powered their growth. First, I want to give a shout out to Dr. Jeremy Weisz, who introduced me to this amazing guests I have on today, I’m in agency mastermind agency swings agency owner mastermind with Dr. Jeremy Weisz of Rise25. And in one of the meeting, someone asked for a process consultant or an expert and Dr. Jeremy Weisz couldn’t stop mentioning my guest, her name is Adi Klevit. And I want to I just want to thank Dr. Jeremy Weisz for that introduction. So Adi is a process consultant and the founder of Business Success Consulting Group. They specialize in helping growing companies set up the systems and processes needed to scale efficiently. If you want to learn more about how they can help, you can visit our website at biz success CG dot com that’s bizsuccesscg dot com. First I want to jump into before we get into the interview. Just a quick note from our sponsor, which is Tenfold Traffic. My agency just don’t projects I take on current currently would be performance based relationships, which basically means that all marketing will go through me on my own dime, potentially, we negotiate a revenue share, I don’t really want someone to give me money if I’m not generating money for them. But if I’m making someone a ton of money, I want to share in the revenue I I’m only looking for one or two clients a year to really pour my heart and soul into and your ideal client as someone who’s already got a converting experience. They’re spending money on other channels. And they really want to scale and crush it. So I guess let’s just jump right in it first. Thanks so much for joining me today.

Adi Klevit 2:22

Thank you, David. And thank you for having me as a guest and the wonderful introduction. And definitely a shout out to Jeremy. So for introducing, so thank you, Jeremy.

David Melamed 2:32

Great. So just a quick disclaimer, I hired Adi and she’s been a godsend with the multiple ways that she’s helped me with my processes. But I want to start first with just asking her How would you describe what you do? And how you help companies?

Adi Klevit 2:52

Sure. So the main thing that I do is I bring order into companies. And whatever it means to that company is whatever it means to that particular companies, you can experience your it’s very tailor made, it’s not a cookie cutter, well, I’m going to do the same thing for everyone. So it’s all in the area of system, implementing systems implementing processes. But the end goal is for my clients to be more productive, more effective, more efficient, and be able to scale and grow.

David Melamed 3:24

Great. So, you know, I I’ve attempted, you know, I think everybody that’s read the E myth knows that they need a they think they need to turn their business into a McDonald’s franchise. I’ve seen people you know, disagree with that, especially in skilled trade, but I know running a creative, you know, in the creative fields. You know, exactly the function is not always a strong suit. So probably, I think most people will bind to the general idea that they need systems or processes, but they don’t necessarily know where to start or how to really unblock them or figure out where the bottlenecks are. So how do you when you go into business? How do you start figuring out, you know, how to create that tailor made solution that they actually need?

Adi Klevit 4:06

You know, I will answer that but before they just want to add more to what you just said in terms of the needing to have systems like the McDonald’s system, right. So each business need those systems and they might not need to be they might not need as rigorous the systems as you will think about a McDonald’s franchise. But they you do need a system you need what is a system a system is a repetitive, consistent way of doing something. Because if you don’t, you’re just wasting your time, every single time reinventing yourself, you’re wasting time doing actions that could have been systematized even better automated, so you can actually concentrate on what’s important for your business. So when we talk about marketing agencies or creatives systems are important as important as in any other business because it will allow you to do better and more of what you do best, which is being a creative, but then you don’t Have to go down to all the mundane actions or the actions that need to be there any way that somebody else can do that is not your junior self. So basically, we need to figure out how to answer your question, how do I get started? How do I figure out, so it’s really seeing where the person’s genius zone is, and figured out how they should actually operate within that genius zone as opposed to somewhere else that is tedious, or it’s a lot of work or it’s not as efficient or not as revenue producing as it should be. And it doesn’t mean that for another person, let’s say for a virtual assistant, that is their genius zone, and they will enjoy tremendously. It just we have to make sure that people are actually placed correctly in their basically, the right seats on the bus or whatever another analogy we want to use. And one of the things that I always look at when I start working on a project is assessing the existing pain points, and also future pain points, something that can happen in the future that is not optimal, that can create some kind of a risk for the business. So it’s not it cannot grow. So the question really to ask is, what area of the company if you had well documented processes and systems right now, we’ll get you the biggest return on investment. And then we discuss what return on investment is because return investment is not always money, of course, everything will lead to the profit. But return on investment can also be time. So time is an asset that we only have so much of that we have to utilize correctly. So if you say, well, as a business owner, if I had another 10 hours a week, I can take another big client, because I will be able to work on that client and actually help them then Okay, let’s figure out how you can create another 10 hours a week, so you can’t work on your dream client.

David Melamed 7:02

That’s great. So I’m curious, just what got you to where you are today, to have that clarity to recognize that genius zone. And obviously, your own genius zone would be in, in either recognizing, you know, where, where you can, I guess, create the most efficiency of your clients time. What I’m like, so you have 25 years that experience you start as an industrial engineer, I’m not quite sure what industrial engineer is, I don’t know if that’s what this is. Or if that’s something, I think industrial engineering, I think someone’s designing like machines and factories.
